THE WRITERS' AVENUE is a Philippine based, seasonal, digital/print creative writing magazine that I created over a year ago along with two of my online friends. This magazine provides an avenue for all the literary budding writers to be heard and we accept almost every submission that we receive every issue. Currently, we are accepting submissions for our summer issue, with the theme, TRANSITIONS. There is no word limit as of the moment and every one who wants to contribute may write under the poetry, prose/fiction category. We also accept nonfiction essays, book/film/anime reviews, and illustrations. And shouldn't you wish to write within the theme, we are still going to accept your submissions. Those who are interested can submit up to  July 24, 11:59pm US/Eastern time through our facebook page, just attach the files on the message and if you have other questions that's where you can reach us.

The past issues can be read and purchased here. I am really hoping, especially my new friends here, will take part on our next issue, and hopefully on our future issues as well. If you know any community here that I can promote this, please let me know. Also, you can tell your other friends about this. Thank you!

Man, I agree with you on this "my writing has degenerated to a certain extent", but I hope you'd give it a try when you find the time to. Also, if I may ask, I just didn't get it, do I sound intimidating? :)

I meant the task of writing something longer for a publication being an intimidating task. I've checked out some of your stuff and think you're up to the task for some long format stuff (even if you mentioned feeling that your writing is not up to snuff.)

I just personally know from my editing process (and how I sometimes think getting the idea out is better than carefully mulling over how I word each sentence) I might not be up to snuff at the moment.
